The old workshops of the Antioquia Railroad, located in the city of Bello, Colombia were built at the beginning of the 20th century, were completely abandoned for more than 40 years after the railroad's economic failure. In 2011, finally, an architectural competition was opened for the recycling of old buildings destined for a pioneering cultural project in the city, the Arts and Crafts Park.

The project of the Park is an intervention in the memory of the city in that surpasses the simple nostalgia, the simple facade. A memory that becomes active in the present through two strategies, the first and urban intervention of which operates through the evaluation and activation of the rails, traces of the movement of the machine. The second is done by enhancing the great spatial quality of the section of industrial buildings.
